arts@work also provides assistance to artists through our 146 Arts programs.

These programs will help you to develop your arts practice by providing exhibition opportunities and assistance for artists at all stages of their career.

arts@work also offers studio spaces at subsidised rates.

146 ArtSpace

146 ArtSpace is Arts Tasmania's gallery space located in the foyer of our Hobart office at 146 Elizabeth Street.

146 WallSpace is an exhibition space that is used to present Tasmania's emerging, contemporary artists and their work. This space is not open to members of the public, however work that is on show will be viewed by staff and visitors to 146 Elizabeth Street, Hobart.

146 ArtStudios

Arts Tasmania and arts@work have four studio spaces that are located above our offices at 146 Elizabeth Street, Hobart. These studio spaces are available to rent at subsidised rates by practicing artists. The studios are available on a 12 month lease and applications are called for in June of each year.

converse@146

converse@146 is a regular speaker's event at Arts Tasmania's public gallery space - 146 ArtSpace - taking place at 12.15pm on the first Wednesday of every month.

Sessions are free to attend, but spaces are limited. Take a seat, bring your lunch along and listen to some serious (and not so serious) opinions on the arts.
