About this funding round

Art Tasmania offers Tasmanian artists funding for residencies throughout the State. This program offers artists the choice of three options; a Wilderness Residency in one of nine available National Parks; a Cultural Residency in one of five available heritage sites; or the option to nominate a self initiated residency anywhere within the State. 

Artists working in all art forms are encouraged to apply. Funding may be sought for projects that support artists to connect with other artists, organisations or places that will inspire career and/or artistic development.

Artists are asked to contact the residency locations they want to apply funding for to ascertain availability and requirements for that area.

All residency durations are a minimum of 4 weeks and maximum of 8 weeks.
