Youth Arts Program - Organisations

This fund is to support projects that actively engage young people (aged twenty five years and under) to develop their creative skills and capacities, and enhance their social health and wellbeing.

This new program is a partnership between Arts Tasmania and Screen Tasmania. Arts and screen organisations are eligible to apply, as are non-arts organisations that propose an artist-led project involving arts and screen content.

Support of up to $40 000 may be provided for projects that engage with youth.

Applications will be considered against three criteria:

  • Artistic quality, engagement, and relevance of the project
  • Quality of artists involved
  • Capacity of the organisation to deliver the project
