Arts Tasmania’s Artist Investment Program is currently open with applications due by 3 July 2017.

Arts Tasmania's Program Officers, Ashlee Irwin and Kate Mackie will be in Launceston on 29 - 30 May and 22 - 23 June and are available to meet with artists.

The Artist Investment Program invests in individual artists, partnerships, collaborations and unincorporated groups working in any artform. It offers opportunities for practitioners at all career stages to undertake projects that enable them to further their careers, enrich their artistic practice and contribute to Tasmania's robust, diverse and vibrant arts sector.

These projects may involve creative development, exhibiting, recording or producing works, writing and researching creative projects and concepts, market and audience development, professional development and taking advantage of promotional opportunities. Support may also be available for travel and living allowances.

Applicants may include actors, arts administrators, choreographers, composers, crafts people, dancers, designers, musicians, playwrights, poets, bands, visual artists and writers.

If you’re thinking of applying for funding through the Artist Investment Program or need some help with your application, it is a really great idea to talk to one of the Program Officers before you submit the application.

Appointments are available in Launceston on 29 - 30 May and 22 - 23 June or anytime in Hobart, by teleconference or by video conference.

Bookings are essential, please call 03 6165 6666 to make an appointment.
