Support material

Support material is required for all applications. Some material is required, and some is optional.

The amount of support material you can provide is different for each program. Guides and limits around how much to provide are included in the application forms in SmartyGrants.

You can provide up to two pages of artist biographies or CVs.

Web links should go directly to the work you want the peers to view.

Artistic support material should be recent (your latest work) or relevant to the application (the same kind of work).

You should include artistic support material for all artists involved if possible.

Letters of support

This can include emails.

Letters of support should:

  • be addressed to Arts Tasmania
  • be signed and dated
  • come from artists and organisations that aren't involved in or have a financial interest in the activity.

When choosing what to include, you should make sure that links and files can be opened on all types of computers.

Please include passwords if required and avoid membership only or subscription sites like social media and paid streaming services.

We cannot accept support material after the closing date.
