Artsbridge (September 2024)
This program supports opportunities for individuals and groups based in Tasmania to take up intrastate, interstate, or international activities, or to bring arts professionals to Tasmania to conduct creative and/or professional development activities.
A delegate of the Minister for the Arts has approved funding of $41,836 for seven (7) activities through the September 2024 round of Artsbridge.
Funding recommendations were made by expert peers drawn from the Cultural and Creative Industries Expert Register.

The peers discussed the overall quality of the applications to this round and made the following comments:
Applications should clearly identify the opportunity and explain a rationale behind the need and timeliness of the opportunity
Applicants should:
- Write in Plain English for a multi artform panel
- Consider the formatting of their application to enhance readability and ensure the key information is easy to access.
- Include clear and well-defined budgets, making use of narrative and budget notes
- Consider including contingency planning for larger projects or opportunities
- Include a project plan or timeline
- Include letters of support from industry professionals that focus on the assessment criteria
- Include letters of acceptance or confirmation from any opportunities outlined
Applicants were encouraged to:
- Clearly outline the key artistic personnel involved in the activity, defining their roles and the rationale behind their collaboration.
- Carefully curate their support material and make sure it was recent and/or relevant to the application.
- Check web links and make sure they were accessible and not password protected.
